Each God gave her the good to make her perfect. Aphrodite sent her good-looking. Hermes gave her smart mouth, and Apollo brought her music talent. Zeus gave Pandora a sealed box filled with scourge, disasters and plagues, and ordered her to send to the man who marry her. Zeus sent this beauty to the earth. Everyone felt very surprised and admired when they saw such a beautiful woman whom they has never seen before. Pandora immediately went to "the enlightened" Epimetheus, he is the younger brother of Prometheus is honest and kindness. Prometheus convinced that Zeus was malicious to human, and warned his brother not to accept any gift of Zeus.

But he did not hear the advice and married the beautiful Pandora. Pandora hold her gift with hands, which was a big sealed gift box. When she just got close to Epimetheus, she opened the lid for curiosity. Epimetheus had not seen clearly what's in the jar, a black smoke with evil and harm flying out of the jar. In the black fog, there are disease, madness, disaster, evil, envy, rape, theft and greedy and various adversities. All these adversities spread on the earth as soon as possible. However, when happiness and hope which were secretly put in the box by Athena who wanted to save human did not get the chance to skip out, Pandora closed the box. Therefore, mortal world was filled with various adversities.

It was said that Pandora opened the box again out of curiosity for the last thing. Some said, "What filed out of the jar are all scourges, and they exist at every corner of the world, so it's lucky hope is left in hand that can help us endure the unfortunate life." Some say: from the box were flying happiness, and they fled to the days prematurely.The hope is only an empty phantomre that mained in our hands . In fact, this box precisely represent disaster and evil! It is often used to compare to the root of adversity and misfortune.
